CROWN GREEN BOWLING

Members who are still able to touch their toes and rise without medical intervention might well wish to chance their arms on the bowling greens of Chester. Sufficient initial interest has now been shown and this group will now go ahead: details from Peter Jones (Tel: 01244 350325)

Members are reminded that Cestrian U3A is part of a network of local U3A groups and some activities, especially those attracting a smaller following, are run jointly so as to be viable. In addition, Cestrian members may apply to join interest groups  run by other U3A’s, providing there are vacancies. The co-ordinator of the appropriate group should be contacted directly.  Our Hon Sec. Margaret Schulte has a list and it will be published here  shortly.
