It has been arranged that members of Cestrian U3A can join with the Chester U3A Local
History Group, who meet at 2.00 pm on the FIRST THURSDAY of the month. All future
meetings will continue in the Wesley Methodist Hall.

At the last meeting a talk on the Poulton Excavation Project was held.
The next meeting is on Thursday 1. March at the Wesley Meeting Hall, St. John Street
at 2 p.m. Over the year we plan to concentrate on the history and development of
those parts of the city that have their own local history societies. At the March
meeting we will be joined by two members of the LACHE AND WESTMINSTER LOCAL HISTORY
GROUP. We hope that any members living in the Lache/Westminster area may be interested
to join us, and, of course, any other members who would be interested to learn more
of this area.
