Auctions are becoming a more popular way of buying and selling goods. With the huge success of online auctions, such as ebay, accessing this medium has never been so easy.
This practical beginners level course will address the main areas of online buying and selling via online auctions, teaching you how to use ebay to its full potential. The course will focus on the following:

¨ How to register with ebay.
¨ How to find items and narrow down your search.
¨ What to look for when looking at items you are interested in.
¨ How to contact the seller to ask questions during the auction.
¨ How to assess the seller’s reliability as a trader before you bid.
¨ How to place a bid and monitor your progress throughout the auction.
¨ How to complete the sale and leave feedback for your seller.
PM -
¨ How to open a seller’s account.
¨ How to research similar items to the ones you wish to sell.
¨ How to list your item.
¨ Costs and commissions paid to ebay for selling through their site.
¨ How to include a picture so the buyer can see what they are buying.
¨ Decide on postage costs and postage insurance (buyer pays for these).
¨ How to tell the buyer what forms of payment you will accept.
¨ Managing and completing your sales.
¨ Tracking your auctions.
¨ How to prompt the auction winner for payment.
¨ How to leave feedback for the buyer.
